PART-TIME CLERK/REPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER (RFO)

Willaston Parish Council, is looking for part-time Clerk/RFO to work an average of 12 hours per week, including evening meetings as required.

The successful candidate will be the public’s primary point of contact with the Council, carry out tasks as allocated by the Council and maintain the Council’s accounts (having a current budgeted expenditure of £28K per year). Preferably, they will have previous experience in a local government or similar role and have completed or be working towards completion of the CiLCA qualification for Local Council Clerks.

This is primarily a remote home working position although some duties will take place within the parish.

Starting salary is in the region of £12.00 to £13.51 per hour, depending on experience.
