CLERK/RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER (RFO) - PART-TIME
 
Willaston Parish Council is looking for a part-time Clerk/RFO to work an average of 10-14 hours per week, including evening meetings as required. The full council meets on the last Tuesday of the month, although this could be changed to suit the right candidate. There is also on average one committee meeting each month.
 
The successful candidate will be the public’s primary point of contact with the Council, carry out tasks as allocated by the Council, maintain the Council’s accounts (having a current budgeted expenditure of £60K per year) and ensure that the Council's statutory obligations are met. 
 
Preferably, they will have previous experience in a local government or a similar role and have completed or be working towards completion of the CiLCA qualification for Local Council Clerks.
 
This is primarily a remote home working position, although some duties will take place within the parish.
 
Salary is in the region of £15.84 to £17.29 per hour, (SCP 18-23) depending on experience.
